Stadler Form Hera: Humidifier Chic
We’ve reached the peak of winter, the eye of the polar vortex if you will, and we at TrulyNet find ourselves craving a climate that is a little less dry than the status quo. Chapped lips, dry skin and red noses leave us dreaming of a humid, tropical oasis, with air so thick you can feel it. Thankfully, with a humidifier you can literally dream in the wet season without having to leave the northern hemisphere or even your own bedroom.
Stadler Form’s HERA Ultrasonic Humidifier has a chic, modern design that will please even the most discerning design freaks among us. Its two gallon tank will last for around 15 hours when operating full capacity, meaning that it won’t run out on you mid-slumber.
When you do refill, however, the process is a little cumbersome, and the HERA Ultrasonic Humidifier definitely loses design points here. The tank needs to be held upside down in order to be refilled, which is a heavy and awkward process for a product that already weighs 10.5 pounds when empty. We recommend refilling using a tap with an extendable handle, should you have one. As with a model we’ve checked out previously, the minimalist Viktor, Stadler Form definitely focuses on great-looking units at slightly higher price points, perfect for Manhattan apartments that aren’t too large and where style counts.
The HERA Ultrasonic Humidifer includes an integrated hygrostat with a host of different settings, such as warm and cool mist, night mode and various levels of humidity. What we also like is its Ionic Sliver Cube technology, which keeps the HERA Ultrasonic Humidifier free of mold, mildew and bacteria.
If you’re lucky enough to have a 760 square-foot loft – around twice the size of many studio apartments locally – then this product will surely do the job of keeping dry air at bay. The Stadler Form HERA Ultrasonic Humidifier retails for $199.99 and is available online and in stores in both black and white color options.
